As we continue to grow we are looking to add a Training Administrator for a 12 month contract starting in January 2025.

Please note this is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote based out of our Edmonton Head Office. All candidates must be eligible to legally work in Canada and be based in Edmonton to be considered.

What your day to day will look like:

Reporting into the Manager of Operational Training in a hybrid role 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Based out of our Edmonton Head Office.

  • General administration; Maintain accurate training records including updating training program documentation and reporting of training outcomes in our learning management systems MS Office, BIStrainer, and Articulate. Assist with drafting training communications.
  • Logistical coordination; Develop and invite employees to monthly and annual training schedules. Coordinate in person training events including venue and materials.
  • Developing training materials; Meet with internal subject matter experts to develop training materials and presentations to support employee development.
  • Continuous improvement; Assist in testing new processes and assess training effectiveness providing knowledge refreshers as required.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Must have minimum 2 years experience in an administrative position and/ or completed post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Post-secondary education in technical training with familiarity in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development is an asset.
  • Must be tech savvy with the ability to easily troubleshoot technical issues and learn new programs quickly.
  • Excellent communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information and prioritize multiple projects at once.
  • Previous experience using BIStrainer and Articulate is an asset.

  • 30 minute MS Teams video interview with the Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor for the role
